The Koreanskt Kulturcenter and the King Sejong Institute Gothenburg together are holding the Korean Speech Contest in Sweden ("2024 한국어 말하기 대회" in Korean).

Date: Jun. 15, 2024 (Sat), 14:00

• Place: Koreanskt Kulturcenter, 1st floor (Kungsholmsgatan 23, 112 27, Stockholm)

• Eligibility: Anyone who lives in Sweden and wants to takes part in this Contest (except for native Korean speakers, and those who have native Korean-speaking parents)

• Speech themes: You can choose among the following two themes.

- 1) 내가 가장 멋있었던 순간 (The moment I felt that I was the coolest)

- 2) 내가 경험한 특별한 한국문화 (The special Korean culture that I experienced)

• Time limit for the speech: Between 3 and 4 minutes

• Prizes

- 1st Prize (최우수상): An opportunity to visit Korea and see the sights of Korea (Participation in the 2024 Training for Excellent Leaners invited by the King Sejong Institute Foundation) + A semester (Autumn 2024) of free admission to one of King Sejong Institute's Korean Language courses

- 2nd Prize (우수상): Emirates Airline’s round-trip flight ticket to Korea

- 3rd Prize (장려상): 3,000 SEK

- All onsite participants of the Contest: 300 SEK worth of Monster Chicken coupons
