Global Korea Scholarship is designed to provide international students with opportunities to study at higher educational institutions in Korea in pursuit of academic degrees, which will enhance international education exchange and deepen mutual friendship between Korea and participating countries

1) 11 (Tue) – 24 (Mon) February 2025: Application submission
2) 26 (Wed) – 28 (Fri) February 2025: Document screening & review
3) 10 (Mon) – 12 (Wed) March 2025: Online interviews for selected candidate(s)
- Interview details (date & time) will be sent personally by email.
4) 14 (Fri) March 2025: Announcement of successful candidate
- Results will be sent personally by email.

4. Submission of Application
• Deadline for application submission: 24 (Mon) February 2025

※ Please write <2025 GKS-G Application> on the envelope.
※ Application must arrive by 5 PM on 24 (Mon) February 2025.
5. Important Requirements
• Please refer to the attached application guidelines for the required documents for eligible applicants to submit.
• “Documents to complete(Required)” must be filled out in English or Korean and signed by the applicant in their own handwriting. Apostille or consular confirmation is not required.
• All “Certificates(Required)” must be apostilled or consular confirmed. Documents written in Swedish must be accompanied by a certified translation in English or Korean.
• A total of 4 sets of application documents (1 original set and 3 identical photocopies) must be placed in separate envelopes. The original set must be labeled as "Original" on its envelope.
• One letter of recommendation must be submitted, signed and sealed by your supervisor, dean, or a professional in the field of your desired study.
6. Notice
• Applicants who fail to submit ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS will automatically be disqualified from the first round of selection. (Please review the attached "Application Guidelines" thoroughly before submitting your application.)
• Submitted documents will not be returned under any circumstances.
• If the university requires additional documents, applicants must submit those materials directly to the university.
