Korean Culture Grant 2025 (~ April 30th)
Koreanskt Kulturcenter (KKC) is excited to announce the ‘Korean Culture Grant’ program, which provides financial assistance to non-profit organizations or groups looking to create events related to Korean culture.
As a government organization affiliated with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Koreanskt Kulturcenter (KKC) is committed to promoting Korean culture and supporting artists and groups who share this mission with us upto 6 500 SEK.
To help you better understand the program, here are the key details and requirements:
1. Application period: ~ 2025 April 30th at 17:00
Fill out the attached application form and submit it to hhjo@kkultur.org
The program will run throughout the year, but KKC will only accept applications until the end of April. After the deadline, applications will be evaluated for two weeks, and then the selected organizations or groups will be contacted individually.
2. Eligibility criteria:
●To be eligible for the program, the applicants must meet the following criteria:
●Host an event between May – October 2025
●Host an event for non-profit, non-commercial purposes. We do not fund any event where the applicant pursues commercial profits.
●Host a Korean culture-related event that reveals the diversity of Korean culture or engages/educates audiences about important aspects of Korean culture.
●A non-profit organization or group in Sweden.
*NOTE : If you plan to host a several Korean cultural event in 2025, please note that you cannot apply the Fund twice. You can only apply for one of the events that you plan to host. In case you cannot succeed to receive the grant, then you may have another opportunity to appeal.
3. Sponsored items:
Koreanskt Kulturcenter can sponsor some goods, snacks, freebies or venue rental fees that will be needed for your event. However, we cannot sponsor expensive equipment such as cameras, lenses or lightings.
Also, please note that the KKC must be the ones who makes the payment, so you cannot claim receipts not we cannot bank transfer the grant(money). Please fill out the application form (attached below) with a list of items, the purchase link, or venue rental fees(quotation/invoice) and the total amount (SEK).
4. How to apply
To apply for the program, please submit the attached application form by the end of April.
The form will ask for detailed information about your organization, the proposed event, and the budget for the event. Also, within a month after your event, you are responsible for submitting the ‘Event Result Report’ (see the form attached below) where you report the results of your event and receipts of sponsored items.
