2026 Global Korea Scholarship Program for Graduate Degrees (GKS-G) - Embassy Track
1. Quota
•Sweden: 4 candidates
2. Program Structure
•Korean Language Program (1 year) + Master’s Degree (2 years) / Doctoral Degree (3 years) / Research Program (6 months or 1 year)
3. Application Method
•Submit an online application through the Study in Korea website: www.studyinkorea.go.kr
*After registering as a member on the website, complete the required sections and upload all necessary documents.
4. Application Timeline
•Online Application Period: 12 February (Thu) 11:00 – 25 February (Wed) 18:00 (KST)
•Announcement of Successful Candidates: 16 March 2026 (Mon)
*Results will be notified individually via email.
*The schedule is subject to change.
5. Submission of Documents (Successful Candidates Only)
•Deadline for submission of original documents: 31 March (Tue) 2026
*All application materials must arrive by 5:00 PM on 31 March (Tue) 2026.

6. Important Notice
•The first-round selection (conducted by the Embassy) will be processed through NIIED’s online system. Please carefully review the attached “Application Guidelines” before submitting your application.
•It is the applicant’s responsibility to regularly check important notices posted on the Study in Korea website.
•Submitted documents will not be returned under any circumstances.
•If a university requires additional documents, applicants must submit them directly to the respective university.
