We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the Autumn 2025 Korean Language Classes at the Korean Cultural Center Sweden, King Sejong Institute.
Class Period: September 1 – December 12, 2025
Eligibility
▪Foreign learners aged 15 and above who do not speak Korean as their native language
* Not eligible: Korean nationals or native Korean speakers
※ King Sejong Institute Korean language courses are designed for adult learners
Class Levels & Schedule
▪Introduction (Afternoon): Fridays, 14:00 – 16:30 (Sept 5 – Nov 28)
▪Introduction (Evening): Fridays, 17:30 – 20:00 (Sept 5 – Nov 28)
▪Beginner 1A: Mondays, 17:30 – 20:00 (Sept 1 – Dec 8)
▪Beginner 1B: Tuesdays, 17:30 – 20:00 (Sept 2 – Dec 9)
▪Beginner 2A: Wednesdays, 17:30 – 20:00 (Sept 3 – Dec 10)
▪*Beginner 2A-2: Thursdays, 17:30 – 20:00 (Sept 4 – Dec 11)
*Beginner 2A-2 is open only to students who completed Beginner 2A-1 in Spring 2025.
※ End of Course Ceremony : Friday, December 12, 2025

Class Descriptions
▪Introduction : For absolute beginners with no prior Korean experience. Learn the Korean alphabet (Hangeul) and gain the ability to read basic Korean words and use simple everyday expressions.
▪Beginner 1A, 1B, 2A : Covers basic Korean sentence structures and verb conjugations. Learn to introduce yourself, describe people and objects, and use common daily phrases. Focus on all four language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
※ To successfully complete the course, you must meet both of the following:
▪Attend at least 70% of classes
▪Achieve a score of 60% or higher on the final assessment

*If you are applying for the Introduction class, or if you have a certificate showing you completed the level just before the one you want to take, you don’t need to take the level test.
